I’ve contributed a brand new song to the upcoming Nophi Presents: Compilation Four. The song, titled “The Year 100,000″ is a tongue-and-cheek stab at human social behavior, evolution, and morality — and will also appear on my upcoming vocal and guitar-driven album Resurgens.
From nophi.net:

Kevin Max – Cotes d’Armor
Pre-orders have opened for Kevin Max’s new album: Cotes d’Armor. The album features some of my composition and production – alongside performances and remixes from 3KStatic, Graham Crabb (PWEI) and Guitar Wizard Adrian Belew.
From dPulse: “With the lead single ‘On Yer Bike!’ (produced by Tedd T and Lynn Nichols of LYNTT Productions) out now, Cotes d’Armor is already turning heads and picking up massive buzz with both fans and press. Cotes d’ Armor will be available on both compact disc ‘Album Version’, the ‘Digital Album Version’ and a gigantic 26-track digital double album and will be available worldwide.”
Pop Will Eat Itself “Axe of Men” CD now available
I am proud to annouce that my remixes for P.W.E.I / Vile Evils are now available in a CD version. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to remix both “Demon” and “Axe of Men” – which I did with gusto.
From dPulse: “Featuring ‘Axe of Men 2010′, the first radio single from the re-imagined Pop Will Eat Itself, as well as remixes of the Vile Evils single ‘Demon (feat. Clint Mansell), the Demon/Axe of Men 2010 Remixes releases is a snapshot of the latest phase in one of the most influential bands in the history of electronic rock. A completely new recording of the PWEI album track ‘Axe of Men’, the new promo single is the first release of PWEI since being revived in February 2010 by principal songwriter Graham Crabb. ‘Demon’, released by Crabb and Adam Mole under the name Vile Evils, also features former PWEI member Clint Mansell.”
Hate City
A documentary film by musician/film maker Bob Place chronicling the state of the modern Atlanta music scene. Bob interviewed me for the film in one of the opening scenes, and I did my best to “tell it like it is.”
The film will make its debut at the next SXSW festival, with a possible rough-cut screening at this year’s Nophest Music Festival.
